Looking for a new phone for photography

Hello Everyone,

I am a local guide from Toronto. I love capturing pictures of beautiful things like sky, sunset, parks, ocean etc. Recently my old phone is not able to capture good pictures as before. I am thinking to buy a new phone . Android phone is more comfortable for me. Please suggest some good phones . I don’t want to buy too expensive one.

I suggest to buy Xiaomi Mi 9 T pro. It is perfect while is affordable. The camera is good, has a ultra wide lens which help on most landscape scenes, as well as acceptable night mode camera.

I suggest you please buy One Plus 7 @That_toronto_girl

It’s best phone for photography and it’s performance also great.

Buy Google Pixel 3a / OnePlus 7 / Samsung A50…For other cheaper phones check for Realme pro.

Your question is genuine & the you can gt different answers for this; however, I would like to guide you this way:

  1. Most important is your “Budget”

  2. What you will be using the camera for ? = You have generally answered well: “sky, sunset, parks, ocean etc”

But, if you can add another important Point: how much importance you give for ‘Night Photography’ ?

  1. Then, do Google search with these criteria; The search will get a lot of good ideas.

  2. Then read Reviews - & look at ratings.

  3. Add further filters like Triple camera, Brand, etc. if you want.

NOTE:

There is not a single Mobile which is perfect…

Samsung gives good Photos; but Battery back is generally poor.

Honor, One Plus, Mi all have a variety of excellent cameras & most of them give good batter back up & Mobile Signal reception.
