Looking at the world through my eyes in a different perspective.

My name is Nick and I am a local guide in Sydney Australia.

I have been a local guide for the past few years now, and find it is a great way to share my passion for photography and videography to other visitors or even locals. I try to find creative ways to show the city especially through drone footage, photos and more recently adding time-lapse showing my view, through the eye of my lens so it appears that you are right here with me.

I also find that it gives me the opportunity to share part of myself and how I see the world and it gives people a sense of being part of a community that they can experience, and a curiosity in what it is like in my hometown as well as in the places that I visit, giving them the urge to explore the world we live in.

Whether it’s a sunrise or sunset, or views of a city that many do not get to see, it gives me the inspiration to share the beauty of our planet to our community. I want to encourage people to travel and discover more than just what’s in their home towns, as the world is an interesting and beautiful place that is yearning to be discovered and something I can do as a Google Local Guide.

When I take photos, video or even an exciting timelapse, to me it does not matter where I am or where I am going but seeing a perspective of the world through my lens which is inspiring others, is where I call home, and that is why I enjoy, and am proud of being a Google Local Guide.

All the best from Sydney, Australia.
