West Texas is thought of, by many, to be a dry and boring place. However, there is much beauty to behold in this gorgeous territory! One of my favorite things to see, and one I think everyone should see at least once in their lifetime, is the Texas Long Horn. While Austin, TX has a large population of them due to the college, the Abilene/Tuscola area have some of the most beautiful cattle I have ever seen. 
I’d recommend a visit out here, especially in September during the rodeo when you can get up close and personal with these gorgeous beasts, to see the flora/fauna/and local sights.
