Last Tuesday afternoon, I took a challenge of going to a museum hill near my town in Nakuru called Hyrax hill museum that has a beautiful view of the city and the lake.
I’m sorry for the late reply. I’m a hobbyist photographer. I have always love to explore the great outdoors and taking photos. I would love to share with you some of the tips for long exposure Photography:
Make sure you have a tripod stand that you will mount your camera on to avoid vibration of any kind.
Visualize and compose your photo. Take a look around the place you’re in and try to capture the photo where there are a lot of moving lights of cars, train, cable cars, etc
The camera should be on manual and have the lowest shutter speed that you can achieve (30 seconds is enough. For the lens, you can have a wide-angle or zoom lens ( the choice is yours) Lock the focus and point to your target area.
Pay attention to the light. …
Do several test shots.
Until you achieve your desired shots
I have shared a screenshot of the settings I used for these photos.
