One of my staff member told me about his experience in a beautiful place when he was working in a remote area. Then I searched the Google map and it gives very descriptive pictures.
When I saw that picture I was reminded of the feeling of Hans Kristen Anderson’s fairy tales.
As a result, I arranged a trip to visit the place with my friends.
Prior to my visit, I searched the location through Google Maps. Then it gave a “street view” of up to a few kilometers, and I realized that a four-wheel drive vehicle could be easier to access. With the help of “Local Guide" I could find a local travel guide, meals and accommodations within my budget.
This restaurant is managed by the Sri Lanka Army.

This is one of the amazing place that I found coz of “Google Local Guide”. I could experience, nature and mild weather with less cost. And this is a really isolated place that even local people are less aware on. You can touch the clouds/ cliffs just being 20 km off the main road. There you can see the nearest Balangoda town at the horizon.
And there was hidden foot path. But thanks to “Google Map”, I could find it too. Coz with dotted line it revealed the hidden path. And it was really the best path to access the Horton plains.
Horton Plain is the most famous plain in Sri Lanka.
Finally we completed our journey. Our team members appreciate me and thank me for organizing the journey. The “local guide” to my success has always been behind me.
I wrote a review of over 200 characters and it got good comments as well as “Likes" .Pictures and videos were also uploaded.
I think it is my duty to help others to have a good experience like this.
