I’d like to recommend that book to you! I’ve stayed in London for a while and I received that book from a local.
It shows you a lot of secrets in London, that people tend to just pass by and not realize.

With the best view… I heard that the view from the Shard is the best.

Also, be careful of your things. Like many popular touristy cities, London also has quite a lot of pickpockets and scammers.
