London: Secret tips for a Budget Traveller

I love to travel around the world and spend not a lot of money on it. Therefore, I always look for a place on Google maps with good reviews and not high prices. Do you know that in any, even the most expensive city in the world, there is an opportunity to save the money? I love to find such variants and I glad to share some tips with you.

Today I want to share some tips for budgeting vacation in London.

When you come to London, you will definitely want to look around the city from a bird’s eye view. But if you want to ride on the famous London Eye you have to pay 27 pounds. Too much, right? Do not worry, you have a great opportunity to admire the panoramas of Lundon 360 degrees for free: you only need to book a time and you can enjoy the beauties for as long as you like. The free observation deck is called the Sky garden and it is located on the top floor of the skyscraper named “Walkie-Talkie” (20 Fenchurch St, London).

If you want to see famous churches you should to visit Westminster Abbey and Saint Paul not as a tourist with the entrance fee, but to come there on Saturday or Sunday service as a prayer. You can enjoy the architecture, as well as listen to religious chants. Respect other prayers, it is prohibited to photo, talk and walk.

Another great way to save money is to explore the city with the help of local guides on walking tours. I visited several tours organized by the company Free Tours by Foot. Together with the English guides we explored the SoHo area, walked around Buckingham Palace, visited the places where the Harry Potter films were shot. There are many different tours, and when you join to them you not only study history of the city, but also improve your English. At the end of the tour tip are welcome.

Here are some tips for those who are going to go to London. Hope they will be helpful to you.
