Ever wonder you arrive at the airport, turn on your phone location to fully utilize Google Maps but it is not working. Everyone, the place or should I say, the country exists!! It is my second favourite country ( well after my own) but I have the difficulty of going places there. It is none other than South Korea!
You can search the info but no specific direction will be given! This is how it looks like:
Google maps can only provide the subway direction.
At one time, they can’t even play Pokemon Go. They are able to do so now. Does anyone know what is the exact reason google maps is not fully utilized? I read that technically they are still on war with North. The war is temporarily halted. The South Korea authority does not want North to know the exact map. Well, that is just one of theory. But I think the main reason is they need to support the local map. You have to install the local map navigator to ease your travel in South Korea.
I still add photos and review of my favourite place in Google Maps. As a kpop lover, JYP entertainment is my favourite. You can still find the places with the suggestion of using the subway.
I hope in the future, besides the One Korea wish, we will also able to get the direction on a car or walking using Google Maps. Have you visited South Korea? Tell me your opinion about this.
