Locally Guiding in the Universe

The local guides program means to me that I get to help people decide where they are in the mood to go and what kind of energy they need at the moment. We don’t always have our best days and some days it may be like, “ok, if one more thing or person upsets me today, I’m going to scream so loud…into my pillow”, so I think it is very helpful for people to know what type of experience they may receive when they go somewhere so they can decide maybe this is not the place for me today, but I’ll try it when I am in better energy to handle an ok experience, where the service may not be as amazing as the food or the cocktails may not be as great as the service but someone may still want to go, just not that day.

I love exploring the State I live in and when I can’t get away to another state or country, Oklahoma is an adventure! I find out about new places all the time and it makes me so proud that the State is really becoming more active. When I visit a place, I make sure I post about my experience; now I might forget to take photos most of the time because I am a very in the moment type of person☺️

All places in OK: Nothin Bundt Cakes, Turner Falls, OK Zoo, Lake Hefner and Chickisaw Cultural Center.

Being a local guide means that we get to share our experiences and help others possibly began to share theirs also but, it also means we are connecting with people in the world that we may have never encountered, otherwise . Although we help behind the scenes, the impact is phenomenal! I know this because when me (right) and my good friend (left) is looking for our next restaurant to eat at, we always go to Google for suggestions and to read reviews and I know we’re NOT the only ones who local guides help with our decisions
