Nepal is a dream destination for many. It’s beautiful as well as mysterious beyond anyone’s imagination. In my opinion, it takes years to know the actual Nepal. Even though being a small country , it consists of varied landscapes, multiple religion and races of people.
However, impossible it may seem to depict all of Nepal, a lot of books have been written about it to give somewhat complete picture to the readers, esp. the tourist. Still, much have been written in the context of touristic perspective, so less have been there for the tourist and visitors exploring Nepal in the local way.
As being a foodie and an avid traveler, I love to post the pictures and reviews about the eateries and my travel destinations. There are many small restaurants and temples of interest that have never caught the eyes of visitors in my area. Hence, I fell happy to put that in light in such a big platform like google maps.
For example, one of the most interesting small business in my area is the Chiya Ghar (Tea House) which sells a lot of different specialized tea. Its still gaining popularity among the Nepalese, but its a nice destination for foreigners also to enjoy the Tea or Chai in clay pots. Its a nice quiet place where you can indulge in speciality teas and coffees, and enjoy the Nepalese culture of drinkingTea.
Though most of my reviews are concentrated in Kathmandu, it is worth to try those small interesting places, and explore Kathmandu like a local. I hereby welcome everybody to Chiya Ghar ( the location is mentioned and I have got pictures of both in my profile too).
