Halos, people! My name is mykel and I’m a local guide from Nigeria. There is no story that has no beginning so let me start from the top, I started the journey of being a local guide for google, when i opened google map one day and was searching for a location and i saw a review, which made me fascinated, i went to the same location and sat there waited but no response from google to give a review. I was heart broken.
Two days later i was at home i check my map and i saw that i had to give contributions of four different places i had passed along the way, that was when my love for reviews began.
When i look at my map it brings me joy because i have a whole lot of places to review and contribute to and to tell people how wonderful they are, i know i can’t cover the whole map but let me start with my country and we have lots of states i can visit to achieve that .
the only issue i have is that contributing to places doesn’t come early enough, as per when you are there, it comes after you have left the place, which means you have to go back in order to take pictures for your review, if that can be looked into i would be grateful.
Never knew i could be part of a community where i would give relevant contribution on google map, that would generate review or help people discover those places, hope am not greedy by saying i want more.
