The most interesting and important thing that comes from the ability to be a Local Expert is to look at the world not only with your own eyes. I kind of try to look at everything the way other people should see it, and not just me who knows the inner culture and traditions. This helps to collect information and present it more constructively, clearly and positively. And this skill can be developed much more and better.
And this is one of the goals for me for the future.
The most interesting thing that I remembered as a local guide was a trip through my country to Ukraine from Kiev to Lviv, and we visited the places of old castles and monasteries, which showed a huge part of our history. The history of Ukraine is suffering from the fact that it was captured by different countries at different times.
