local stores about helping people in my hometown.

Hi! Everyone~ I’m Christy, I come from Taiwan , and i live in Yuanlin, a small but beautiful city for 22 years. I’m a foodie and love to share photos on google map, especially Yuanlin’s food.

Yuanlin is not a big city ,but there are full of delicious, special street foods , so i often find street food which may be inconspicuous but really awesome in alleys. These street vendors sometimes do not upload their information on google map, so i will help these vendors increase information, such as address, phone numbers or photos to improve their business. In addition, i write comments and judges for more completeness. It can make more people know about these stands, enhancing their business. For example, i help a Thai father add a new location on map.He is from Thailand and sells delicious Thai crepe to support his family in Yuanlin. However, he does not how to promote his tiny dinning car, so i build a new location on the map for him. After showing on the map, more and more people begin to realize his stands and help him earn more money to support his family. I’m glad that i help people and make people become better in my hometown. That’s why i love share photos on maps

Hi @cy966913 while I share your enthusiasm for street food and street vendors, Maps is about permanent places, so unless these vendors open in the same place every day they don’t really belong on Maps. The need to map street vendors has been discussed many times and hopefully one day there will be a solution. This one looks like a food truck so shouldn’t be there.

Hi @PaulPavlinovich Thank you for your suggestion : )

Before i add these locations, i have already asked these vendors the open time, and they are in the same place everyday. In addition, these place are allowed these vendors to stay there, so i add the information for them.

I will be more careful when i add the new location on the map next time.
