Here’s an idea; let’s crowd-source local knowledge of surf spots around the globe! When you ‘review’ a beach or add a ‘a missing place’ of your favourite break, be sure to include handy information that other surfers could use:

Tide and swell direction info for best results

Hazards or dangers to be aware of

Any other ‘local knowledge’ of that particular spot that other surfers could find useful. Perhaps things like safety in the parking lots, beach clean-up days, wildlife in the area etc.

Of course, a mandatory photo of yourself shredding said wave is also a full requirement
