Local Guides Support Small Local Business - come join us throughout 2021

[StephenAbraham]

A group of Local Guides friends from all around different parts of the world, came together to create this fun and meaningful collage to encourage everyone to continue to support our small local businesses. Since early last year and even for most part of this year, small local businesses around us continue to be at risk and are most fragile due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.

Throughout 2021, let’s organize and implement concerted effort to add, update, highlight, review, share, promote small local businesses around where we live, work and visit.

Let’s go visit and give them personal business in our personal life
Let’s organize physical meetups to update Maps, experience new food in food crawls and more.
Let’s organize virtual meet-ups to share our experiences
Let’s update Google Maps with their latest information, add photos and reviews.
Let’s share the small local business we support and our experiences in Local Guides Connect and also social media.
Use any related hashtags for example (#LocalGuidesForSmallLocalBusiness) or any other that you feel strongly about

Encourage everyone else to do the same
Coincide our Support Small Business effort with our other efforts like Accessibility, Clean the World, Clean our Maps, Green, Local Guides Anniversary and others!

Being a Local Guide, I get the chance to support Small Businesses by adding photos, visiting them, making them aware of things they could do to learn about how their customers think about their business, and sharing my thoughts with them on things they can provide such as accessibility, etc is the best thing for me. Local Guides Support Small Local Business

Still related with supporting local business, I was honored to host a session about this relevant topic on Community Live 2020 last December.
