Local Guides Site Disappearing? [Meta]

Thankyou for taking the time to read! I hope this is the best place to post this!

Hello everyone, this is my first time communicating with other Local Guides through Connect. I’m concerned that it might be my last? Like many of you I recently got the notice that we’ll no longer be able to update our Local Guides location and program settings on the Local Guides site. Does this mean that they’re just moving settings to a separate site just for settings? I don’t mean to be jumpy, but as I’ve only just discovered the community I want to be sure; is the Local Guides site (particularly Local Guides Connect) still going to be here after the changes? I would hate to miss out on a community I haven’t had the chance to meet yet.
