I joined Local guide program out of curiosity to know more about it and the way it works.After my visit to any place google maps used to prompt me to rate it and give my reviews about the place. Initially though I wasn’t very keen about it but gradually I realized people are viewing my reviews and liking my pictures which maybe helping them to know about the place to some extent. This encouraged me in contributing more .Also I started checking others reviews and photos before visiting any place which helped me immensely. Overall it has been a learning process for me.
