Its the year 1999; freshman in the University, full of dreams and aspirations but one thing stood out for me, my urge to travel. I began fulfilling that urge by travelling locally, visiting as many towns as possible in Nigeria, I succesfully visited about 30 of the 36 States in Nigeria, after that feat in 2007
, I told myself its time to see the world!
I rpomised myself to visit the major continents of the world one country at a time before I am 40, here I am 40 years later one continent shy of my travel goal however one program encourages me and gets me excited not to give up on my goal and that program is the Google Local Guide program; whenever I am planning to travel, my go to place is google to read what other people are saying about the place I plan to visit, the program helps me plan my finances, type of luggage to pack and what to expect from the locals upon arrival.
The reviews and photos from local guide around the world has never failed me hence my resolve never to take any step to a new place without reading from what other local guides have to say.
