I discovered about local guides program on google maps 1.5 years back. It all started when I started using maps religiously in order to retrieve a location or distance of a place and at the same time also saw the pictures and review of that place before visiting it. It all fascinated me and I started posting details and pictures about the places I visited as well and in no time I stared getting huge hits and views on my reviews and pictures. Little by little I started unlocking the achievements and became a google guide level 7 along with 1% photographer in the city with over 4 million views on my pictures.
With this program, it has become so easy to choose a place before visiting it, not only it’s good for the customers but also the business owners who get to know where they can improve more.
Google guide program has become a part of my identity. I am a blogger and I make sure, whenever I’m introducing myself or my work to someone i mention about me being a level 7 google guide as well. The contributions here has made everyone’s life really easy, and I plan on unlocking many more achievements and become the top most google guide of my country.
