I thought of initiating a fun-filled challenge and spread it through connect. That is "Local guides one on one meet up challenge!"
As we all are aware, Local Guides’ meet ups have played several roles in connecting fellow Local Guides, sharing information and have resulted in many innovative events so far.
Here I’m about to start a new challenge connecting Local Guides!
As the first move I’m nominating eighteen (18) Local Guides from all over the world. The challenge to each nominee is to reply this link with a photo or a selfie taken with a fellow local guide within the following week. The fellow local guide can be a new face, who you recently met or one of your well known colleague.
Then they start nominating their colleagues and fellow local guides. Likewise, the chain goes on. Hope this is gonna be the best way to get to know how many interconnections and mutual friends do we all have in the Local Guides program or the connect network.
Let’s get tuned! Let the meet up fever run around and let’s get to know many people in a very short time frame. Cheers!

Totally game for this Challenge @IlankovanT ! I’ve been very fortunate to meet lots of #LocalGuides this year. One Local Guide in particular that started me on my journey is @ReyLey , a Mexico City Local Guide who was an original City Expert.
If it wasn’t for Rey, I would never have been able to experience all the wonderful cool things and benefits of being a Local Guide, including attending the #LGSummit16. Finally met him IRL in October after 2+ years and got to show him around, including his first experience at a Halloween Pumpkin Patch.
Here you have a photo during the Local Guides Meet-Up Day back in June. I was visiting Seville for a photowalk with a group of Local Guides from the city. The owner of Seville’s community, @CFoncu , was the one taking the picture (and she was too shy to show her face :D)
