Local Guides - My Medicine

As a bipolar I have more vivid ups and downs than most people. Sharing those ups and downs with my local community really helps me work through them without triggering more severe conditions like mania or depression.

Like if I really like the food or the service at some little local place, be it a restaurant, a spa or a hiking trail, then I can channel my inner euphoria into taking pictures and write reviews instead of turning full on mania.

The same is the case; the few times when i have a bad experience that otherwise could turn my day - maybe my entire month - into a depression. Now I have a save place to express my troublesome experience. Which most of the time cools me so much I actually end up with a fair an decent review that can help others and I get a feeling of being worth something, instead of depressed.

So what I love the most to share is my experiences! Both bad and good, mediocre and terrific! Every review, every guide, every photo upload i make helps me manage my condition, as well as help others! What is not to love!

Another of my big passions is finding small places that is not yet on google maps, try them out and review them to help them get in the game! It makes me feel useful, and it makes the owners happy.
