I was soooooooo lucky to become a local guide a couple of years ago! Ever since I cannot help admiring Local Guides features I discovered so far and its amazingly friendly & helpful Community I had a chance to meet though LocalGuidesConnect and Meet-ups over the last year.
Local Guides Programme inspired me by showing HOW MUCH Local Guides can help others by each and every contribution on Google Maps and on Local Guides Connect through incredibly needed things like:
#OneAccessibility project, #LocalGuidesCleantheWorld and Waste Reporting programmes, kinds-, pets-, family-friendly mentions, introducing small businesses, upgrading the maps by 360-degrees pictures, adding new places, deleting the non-existing any more, environmental dangerous or friendly locations… And I am sure, I am not even aware of HOW MANY other things it’s possible to do with Local Guides so it is just a tremendous honor for me to be a part of it also. Cause, the most fascinating thing about Local Guides is that ANYBODY can do it and EVERYBODY can make a huge difference for those who really need it in right time and right place!
Me, personally, I found my infinite joy and pleasure in three Local Guides features I practiced for now:
- #OneAccessibility Programme, so ever since I got to know about it, wherever I go I pay attention if the place is accessible, and if yes, to what extend it is. I leave the reviews with the this important remark so that people who need it, can easily find it. And I was happy to to take part in several meet-ups dedicated to this stunning Project too to broaden my mind about it and to share this precious knowledge with other.

So during this year I was sooo happy to learn how to take 360 photos with my phone thanks to PavelPavlovich, then to make some beauuuuuuutiful experiments with Theta Camera and GoProMax & finally to get to MavicAir that can give me and Google Maps user a pleasure to see 360 shots from the air too. 3. But the most precious treasure I found with Local Guides Program - New Great Friends due to Meet-ups!!! It is unbelievable, not comparable to anything else feeling of meeting soooo friendly, and sooooo passionate about LG people, doing amazing things and inspiring others for that!!! To conclude, LG is an amaaaaaazing program for me that helps others to discover and to share the infinite world of possibilities not only on Google Maps, but also through the community support on Local Guides Connect, that can become a real big and friendly family to its members!) or want to visit and to see all these impressive 360 views around, giving you a thrilling feeling of actual being on the spot here and now! So during this year I was sooo happy to learn how to take 360 photos thanks to @PaulPavlinovich and his supportive 360 master-classes, that gives me soo much inspiration to improve 360 shots more and more.

But the most precious treasure I found with Local Guides Programme - New Great Friends due to Meet-ups!!! It is unbelievable, not comparable to anything else feeling of meeting soooo friendly, and sooooo passionate about LG people, doing amazing things and inspiring others for that!!!
To conclude, “Local Guides” is an amaaaaaazing programme for me that helps others to discover and to share the infinite world of possibilities not only on Google Maps, but also through the community support on Local Guides Connect, that can become a real big and friendly family to its members!
