As a robotics engineer, I have always witnessed the fundamental part that we humans fulfill in ensuring compliance with the tasks of the machines, but in the same way of the limitations that still have, such as the ability to taste food, of appreciate landscapes and places as we do, it is because of the above that I find it great to be the human part of Google maps, the part that complements the experience of using the application and that helps other people to know what else can be done in one place or how good the experience is.
I help improve the shops and places that I visit through the opinions that I publish on googlemaps, showing the good and bad things, I give new ideas from my visitor perspective, since many times the locals get used to what they see every day . Now when visiting a new place, I make sure I know it as well as possible, to contribute new discoveries for future visitors and to be recognized within the community. When I mention that I’m part of the local guide community, people who don’t know the program see me as someone important who collaborates with Google, and it feels good to be seen this way.
Now I strive to make better photographs to get more views, which for me is an indicator of how good a job I do as a landscape or cymbal photographer as the case may be, in addition to giving a new purpose to my photos, no Only I appreciate them, also many other people who are looking for a real vision of somewhere, or who are looking for a good setting to take their photos that will be uploaded to their social networks as a memory of their visit.
