No worries, @AdrianWCT . Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, you’re right, it’s a fair hike, likely 6 hrs round trip from Perth. Have you thought of hosting a driving meet-up? There are many beautiful roads down this way. Manjimup is lovely, close to the Diamond Tree. Have you ventured down this far yet? Whereabouts in Australia are you? In the East SouthYou are probably heading for a very hot summer, just as we in Canada are goingtowards our long winter, too soon! We had a cool summer up here on the more northerly part of the Province. Southern Ontario is populated and up here we are surrounded by forests and freshwater lakesvwhich will be a big draw for tourists in the future. We get a lot of tourists from Japan and from Germany. Guess they can afford to come such a long way! But the air is so clean that I’m surprised that China doesn’t want to set up special places that they could come to recover and clear their lungs. And I’m not kidding. This country so full of wilderness, is wonderful to visit.
Of course we love our home countries, but Local Guides is about sharing the things we love with the World! Soon I will learn to take good photos with my android phone! Take some pictures and post them. It’s important we share the things we love aboutcthe World and about our home areas!

We’re located on the south west coast of Australia in Busselton. Manjimup is about an hour inland. It’s a great drive with peaceful farmland and tall forest sections.
