Local Guides is a wonderful platform to share and learn about new places from each other as we continue to contribute our experiences. I use google maps for my travel routes as I mostly self drive and get prompt information on gas stations, restaurants and Hotels etc apart from best convenient route to take. I have an android phone which enables me to take pictures of nature, flowers and places I visit that get automatically stored in the google cloud app “Photos”. These photos are later reflected back to me by google with a title, date, time, location and picture enhancements that adds to my joy of companionship with google. We are possibly the most fortunate generation to be able to document our life and activity with such ease on the go. Also when needed we can create our milestone editions from the stored data. Today I am able to save good ideas pictorially and use them with greater application. I am able to connect with people around the world that respond with such affection and helpful resource that I truly feel grateful for google search, google maps and connect, Today we are just One google away from each other and any place on planet earth is one short distance away. To resonate with my write up I am sharing some pictures from Kedarnath Valley in my home state Uttrakhand, India. Kedarnath Temple perched at 14000 ft above sea level is worshiped in devotion to Lord Shiva, the valley also has a beautiful wildlife sanctuary and can be visited via Chopta, the season is from April to November.
