Local Guides in the eyes of a Foodie

I’m a frequent traveler and a foodie, these two concepts are very well connected. The more you travel, the more variety you eat! I tend to use Google Maps as my source of restaurants to go and check whenever I travel to a new city.

I will share two of my favorite tips that I use on Google maps when it comes to Restaurants:

  • In case you don’t speak the language of the country you can always show a picture of what you want to order and they will prepare for you. No more mistakes when ordering!
  • Some places don’t have a website or social media, so it’s quite hard to know what do they have (are their dishes vegetarian, vegan, etc.) and how much they cost. Some google maps users upload the whole menu inside the restaurant page, so you can always check if you like the menu before sitting on a table.

I hope it helps :slightly_smiling_face:
