Hello Local Guides Community,

I will visit Helsinki from 18.02.19 til 20.02.19. Is there there a local guide which has some insider information about interesting restaurants or some special events?

yes, it will be my first visit in Helsinki. I looking for recommendations, like your favorite Restaurant. I like having a walk, so maybe you can recommend something like a nice walking tour ( best with a lot of nature :slight_smile: ) . I read about Suomenlinna, that could be spot or?

I also read about the Löyly sauna. Is it really that good? is it worth it?

Maybe stupid question, but is it possible to see the northern lights in Helsinki?

Hi @Korbinian ,

You can walk around Helsinki anywhere and I’m sure you will enjoy it. There are so many restaurant and cafes to choose from and you won’t be disappointed.

You might want to check this article 5 things to do in Finland during Christmas, there are a few examples of places and Löyly as well. Suomenlinna is also quite unique and interesting to visit, there are ferries going from the center.
