@DeniGu : This month, we’re loving Local Guide @SarahKa ’s review ofSupermarket Verdemar - Sion in Belo Horizonte. It is up to date and informative, with many helpful details about COVID-19 measures, accessibility, and sustainable practices. We love that she used emojis to highlight the main points in her review and made it easy for the readers to see at a glance the information they need the most.
Here’s what Sarah says:
“They follow protocols against COVID-19 with machines to sanitize the carts and by controlling the number of people who enter. [You] can only enter with a mask.
On Friday night and Saturday, I was lining up to get in, and it was full inside, even with the control.
Accessible for [people with] reduced mobility and wheelchair users.
If you want to dispose of your recyclable garbage or old cooking oil, you can do it here. In addition, they do not give plastic bags. If you have forgotten yours, you can buy a returnable bag or pick up a cardboard box.

@BorrisS : Local Guide Juliana Reis’s photo of the Iguazu Falls is stunning. The waterfall is on the border between Brazil and Argentina, and to see it, Juliana visitedIguaçu National Park in the State of Paraná, Brazil.
Her photo provides us with an impressive panorama of the falls and the surrounding green area. Juliana cleverly used the trees and foliage to create a frame, which focuses our attention on the grand waterfall and the walkway for visitors in the center. What would be the view if we walked up to the Iguazu Falls on that platform? Juliana’s photo leaves us curious to find out and inspires us to add Iguaçu National Park to our bucket list.
