Dear Connecters,
I am a young father of a little amazing daughter; and currently living in Zurich and working as a digital visual designer.
If someone asked me what the most useful app for me was, I would answer with no hesitation that it is “Google Maps”. Actually it is a tool I am using daily – on my way to work or another place, back home, looking up places locally and even in other countries/cities. I would divide Google Maps into two important fields: The first is the maps itself. The possibility to see the whole earth on your phone is one of the hugest achievements in the digital world we experience right now. The second field is the information on the maps. All the images of places, all the information about locations and the instructions how to reach a destination. All that together makes Google Maps so useful and vital for daily life and more than amazing. Therefore I feel it is a meaningful action for me to collaborate in building this map and to contribute to it.
The best thing is: there are a lot of amazing things to come and I am happy to be part of it.
