Connect Live Hyderabad held at The Park on 10.Aug.2019 by Google Local Guides team.
I knew I can make a difference when I started 2 year’s back with this local guide program. When I visit a place I make sure my review include: ambiance, customer service, mode of payment at that time, ease of notice from normal traffic, price and vegetarian specific. Within no time I noticed increase in views, helpful votes, featured photography and so are badge points. Little I wondered whether I will be invited to any of the Google local Guides connect across the globe to get a feel of the whole thing. The day had arrived and a mail landed asking to register for the Connect Live event. Guess what! my registration got confirmed and ended up entering the premises.
10.Aug I would say is one of the turning points in my life. I got to witness the Josh, energy, power packed speeches, new upcoming Google maps features, healthy feedback session. Their are bunch of suggestions, ideas and snacks rolled out through out the day. I never imagined their are Local Guides with Level 10 in Hyderabad!
Trust me, the organizers from On-site Google office kept the sessions lively, offered tips during Happy Hour, mingled with our traditional Hyderabadi Biryani’s taste.
To everyone surprise, the food and snacks served have covered global dishes and cooking. All the participants were given surprise goodies: Badges , 2-wearable Pegmans, mini tripod stand with holder, photo frame from one of your popular uploads on maps and a memento with your review view’s.
To all the Google Local Guides out in the globe: please do contribute to the maps with correct information which helps millions of people while travelling & look out for visiting places, governments in town-planning, states and nations in knowing the length and breadth of nation. The only thing guaranteed is unlimited fun, networking, contributions and new feel of life.
