Hi, I’m Lisa from Singapore, currently living in London. This is the 5th country that I have lived in!

I strongly believe in travel so much that I created a business around it. On Trevellers.com, it is not possible to operate without Google Maps. I share my reviews of places, linking them to Google Maps and share my reviews on Maps too.

3 Things Why I Never Leave Home Without Google Maps:

  1. How easy it is to use and follow when I travel. I have an embarrassing amount of stars and pins on my Google maps! (Sneak preview in my video!)
  2. Easy to get information of a place and reviews of it. I use the details in my articles all the time! I also contribute details like if places close, must eat there and other details. Funny thing, most people are kind in the reviews and comments, but you get an occasional a-hole that is disrespectful to the service staff, leading to a one-star review when they should have gotten a five-star review. I tell them off.
  3. Creating my very own maps and sharing that with people. I created tons of itinerary maps of places to go, road trips to do and what to visit in an area. I love love love this feature!

Hi @LisaTrevellers in your post it appears that you’ve made a business around being a Local Guide. LG are not allowed to make money from the program. It is possible that isn’t what you meant and I misunderstood.

I hope you got your application submitted as they closed a few hours ago.
