I took this photo while on holiday in Solo using the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone.
Fort Vastenburg is a historic Dutch colonial fort located in the heart of Surakarta (also known as Solo). Built in the 18th century by the Dutch East India Company (VOC), the fort originally functioned as a military defense structure to control and monitor the surrounding area, particularly the nearby royal palace.
Today, Fort Vastenburg stands as a cultural heritage site with large open courtyards, thick fortress walls, and a classic European architectural style. Although parts of the structure are in a rustic condition, its historical charm remains strong and attracts visitors interested in history, photography, and architecture.
