Are you new to the local guides program and live in Melbourne? Or perhaps you just want to meet other local guides?
I’m organising a Local Guides 101 at Chadstone Shopping Centre on Tuesday 29 Dec 2020. We will be meeting at 10:30 AM in front of Woolworth for a quick briefing before doing a few practical exercises. I will share more tips as we progress through the shopping centre.
We will be discreet and only be using our mobile phone camera. Yes, you’ll need to bring your own.
If you want to upload photos, reviews and edits during the meetup, you will need data on your phone. But you can do it over Wi-Fi later also if you prefer.
You might also find it useful to have the Android app Blur Face (or something similar) already downloaded on your phone if you intend to include people in your photos.
Social distancing of 1.5m and masks is recommended for this practical tutorial.
The formal part will be completed by around 12 PM. Hang around for lunch or a spot of shopping afterwards as you desire.
