So many people out there believe that places on map are added automatically by the power of satellite or directly by Google itself. It was initially hard to make people believe that google maps is actually operated by local people to benefit the community.
At first, I thought it will be learning experience for me to add a missing Restaurant in my area. Later I discovered so many people viewed the image I uploaded for the place. It felt so satisfying that I did something for the society without huge efforts. Then I though if I could do it, why not others? India ranks 2nd in terms of Internet Users in the whole world, yet more people are engaged in using Internet for Entertainment purpose.
There are ‘n’ number of new places daily inaugurated and old places which are yet to be added on maps for clarified routed for the people. Let’s encourage our friends and family to be part of the Google Maps team to help the world towards correct directions.
