I like to know whether level6 local guides can apply for the!he summits. I know that applicable period is over for 2018 . but I wan’t to know that is there any chance for another year:bust_in_silhouette:

@user_not_found you are correct that for 2018, the annual Local Guides Connect Live 2018 event application is closed, and will take place on Oct 16-18 in San Francisco.

To help you out a little @user_not_found the kinds of things that are looked for when deciding who can go out of the 60 million Local Guides are things like:
- Consistent warm welcoming posts here on Connect that realise the Core Values
- Great Maps contributions
- Promotion of Local Guides locally through Meetups and other activities on your social networks.
Keep an eye out on the here in Connect and on the various social connections for LG (g+, facebook, twitter, instagram) on the Local Guides profile as lots of things from Connect Live will be shared and you can get an idea about the event.
I noticed that Connect Live visited Tokyo this week and there were hints that there are more activities coming up in other cities so you never know maybe Connect Live will come to you!
