Local Guide: sharing experiences, developing communities

The best part of being a Local Guide is helping people to have a better experience when go to some place. Informing if a grocery has parking lots, or if it accepts credit cards or if it has any other customer service, may be useful to a mom that needs to go shopping and do not know if there is baby carriage available to take her baby. A man that would like to buy a special gift may find out that it might be found on the corner next from his work. This improves our communities, and that is what I most like to in being a Local Guide.

Evaluating places may support users as well. To whom do not like surprises, taking a look into those evaluations before visiting a restaurant is usefull - I know by myself and it worths a lot!

Also, I like to share my experiences in places I think that are great. It also help users to know new places to visit - or even to know them from a different point of view.
