Hmmmā¦ If you placed thousands of pictures, corrected any mapsā¦ the only thing you will get a little pin.
but if you share some stupid videos one youtube and so on you can earn a lot of moneyā¦.

I think happiness is subjective.Iām happy by doing this and it is absolutely fine if you didnāt felt anything like that.

Itās a badge which google offers to those local guide who have contributed a lot to google maps by various ways.
It is limited edition because it canāt be purchased from any shop or from anywhere. It can only be earned.
It is very cheap in terms of price but we canāt give price tag to appreciating rewards like this.

I received mine a couple of days ago, the same as yours. I have pinned it onto my cardigan. I like the fact it is enamel featuring a plastic āreceiverā which is easy to remove to transfer.
My husband doesnāt know why I bother as I donāt get paid. I do spend a lot of time writing detailed reviews; editing photographs. More perks from Google, who earn a huge amount of revenue, would be welcome.
Nonetheless I am proud of my pin, as I am of being Level Six.

In the email Google initially send you, a specific, detailed explanation as to why you are receiving the pin would be most welcome.

I got the same reward last month
How many days did it take to reach your location after providing the address? They shared me tracking details, and it was shipped on the 27th of the previous month via Deutsche Post (from Germany). Till now I didnāt receive any update regarding the same, do you know any way to contact them? or should I wait?

Iād been so excited to receive mine, and it never came. Iād contacted support but no resolution was provided. 
I joined Local Guides Connect today. I got to Level 9 recently, having started as a Local Guide in 2022. I have the Master Reviewer and Master Fact Finder badges, and I am on the cusp of becoming a Master Trailblazer. I am only an Expert Photographer. Most of my points came from detailed reviews, edits and answering questions. I donāt go in for loads of rubbish photos. I usually add photos when something is missing or when I eat or drink something interesting. I donāt do videos. I get a lot of views, and a good number of likes. I had quite a few followers, before that was stopped. I do it because I enjoy it, but I have NEVER had any reward whatsoever, other than the Levels and the virtual electronic badges. I am quite disappointed, as many people who have contributed much less than me have been given pins. Surely, someone who has 2 or 3 Master badges and is at Level 9 should get at least a small physical badge or pin.
