Local Guide Program: Part of Life

I posted the first picture of a shopping mall on Google Maps 3 years ago. Unaware of the meaning and purpose of being a Local Guide it was just clicking and posting pictures. But when I got familiar with the whole cycle of posting pictures, reviews, answering QnA it just fascinated me and I felt really proud that somehow I got into something through which I can help others in a meaningful way. Then I started involving more in Google Maps and try to do whatsoever I find from posting reviews, to posting a video. I have almost all the places I have been in the last 3 years on Google Maps, from my home to my city, college, my favorite restaurant, my favorite hangout spot, my weekend trips, the hospital I admitted in, almost everything, and every picture. Now Google maps have been a part of my life even if I visit a small shop I prefer observing it and then posting about it on Google maps. It’s really fun and useful that it’s helping people to find the right place they want. I prefer writing detailed reviews and be very precise about it. It makes me feel happy whenever I post anything, and now it has become a habit of just telling everybody about the place I visit. It is something that does not require much time and power and I can continue and enjoy being a Local Guide for a lifetime. I am proud to be a Local Guide.
