I feel connected with thousands of people who view my posts before going to any new place and my contributions make it easier for others to find new places where they can enjoy their favorite meal, hang out with their friends & families and spend quality time.
It gives me immense pleasure to guide strangers and feel connected with them virtually and inspire me to travel more. It’s a kind of social work. Satisfaction takes it all.
Google’s local guide program provides a platform to share my experiences of new places, culture, and society with others by giving reviews, uploading photos, videos and rating the places I visited.
When I see my contribution is helping someone and adding value to them then it encourages me to explore the world with a different perspective and contribute more.
I earn rewards for discovering different places in return and this motivates me to click more photos, write detailed reviews so that I reach higher levels of the program and through this competition, I bring a change to make a better world for strangers.
