Locating Places in Africa especially Nigeria is difficult because few places are searchable on maps; being a Google local guide helped me in teaching others how to make their places searchable.

In Lagos, Nigeria only firms register their businesses on google maps with the help of IT consultants. So, been a Local guide helped me and my friends in putting our favorites places on google map to make it searchable in other to reduce giving bogus directions. People can also comment and add more information on their places.

Sparse and Isolated communities in Niger-Delta (Nigeria) suffers lack of transport logistics and tourist attraction due largely to no map identification. Proper map identification will boost distance calculations aiding logistics and proper assessment of places thereby boosting tourism.
