In India, we have a saying in my native language that ‘Guests are Gods’.
And therefore it is our duty not to disappoint them. I think that everyone in the world likes to travel. While doing so, obviously, people like to explore places but at the same time we want to feel safe and secured of the unknown people and places.
I understand that every culture has its own norms, which is not necessarily known by all.
Here is where a local guide like me comes into play. We need to understand the travelers also as human beings and not as a source of merely earning income.
It does not cost anything to be kind and honest.
Hence, I do not see the local guide program just an event to meet in California, but a lifetime process of providing the best, orginal and genuine memories to be carried away for lifelong.
For me personally, therefore it is not at all exaggeration to say that local guide program means devotion and piousness as today, wherever I stand, it is only because of me being a faithful guide, to myself, my clients and Google.
