What does the Local Guides program mean to me?
Local guide program is my next best friend or my teacher who selflessly helps me to do things globally with its guidance making me a better person.
Its like telling everything to your best friend with all the excitement and here the world is my best friend .
I feel optimistic with this program. I love traveling , exploring and capturing moments … it gave me a way to share my thoughts world wide with the
people who would love to read and know about the places ,food points and even with the people who might gets motivated seeing my post and travel to those
places.I feel happy with the thought that my post , my travel stories can motivate someone for something good.

The best part is it encourages me to do do better everyday.
Motivates me to keep posting and tells me how good i am doing with the weekly report and how one single like makes me happy.
Makes me feel good on bad days by telling how my reviews helped many people.
Every Badge and level up itself is booster to do more and an happy achievement .
I realized that i am good at photography as this program gives me a world level audience , also tells
me how the pictures I post is being viewed by high no. of people and are also being appreciated .
It gives me a new talent every time which i can flaunt maybe a good write ,keen observer or a great photographer and makes me love my self more.
It enables self competition in me to be more productive by sending me mails about the stats making me grow.
To highlight with this program i can a keep track of the places i visit and i eat, in addition i always
have my memories posted on it for ages.
I am fan of google maps , its a savior for me , whenever i navigate to some place using google maps
I just need to scroll down and it tells me about the place in and out with pictures posted by someone like me.
Specially the timings and what is good or bad about the place …I save a lot of time because of it.
Being a food reviewer and Instagrammer , Handle - ‘@Finishyourplatefirst’ and ’ @Musaafir_Mehra’ ,I also learn from google local guide reviews by other people and seeing the pictures posted by them i get different ideas and
new places to try.
It gives a mutual platform to all the people like me who have similar interests or want to grow in it.
I never got an opportunity to interact and know another local guide online but i so wish too.
Though in Dubai i met two African girls who were travel guides guides but could not interact much due to language barrier but we suggested each other
some good food place to try and it turned out to be amazing and i told them to start with the google local guide .
Still if you ask What does the Local Guides program mean to you? It’s a selfless program which have nothing to take from me apart
from my contribution and love for food ,travel and photography.
