Local Guide Program empowered me to shape the products and services

The Google Local Guide Program is one of the greatest opportunities to communicate with the world and contribute more and more. I see it as the most honest and direct platform to express your opinion about the places I visited.

The most honest is because there are true emotions: if you are angry or unhappy you write the angry review. And this is OK, this is honest. If you are a satisfied client or visitor, you write the positive review. You are just really saying what you think. If we are talking about the places where you can be a customer (not about nature sides), those 1-star reviews shape the product and show to the owner what could be changed for better. And when with the time those reviews changing for 4- and 5-stars, and their number is growing, it shows how the owner worked on it.

The most direct platform is because you can give your feedback just here directly on the page of Google Maps and no one could delete it. And furthermore, none of the reviewers are not interested in giving fake reviews. You say, of course, it is possible. And, yes, the owner could ask all his/her friends to do so. But he can’t stop other clients from providing it, whenever it’s 1 or 5 stars. And we as a people who would like to develop our society, our community, just because we deserve the best services and products we want, we need to use this chance and express ourselves on Google Maps.

The Local Guides Program means to me the engagement in molding the products and services, it makes me even responsible to say to the world and other people over there about what they can expect from this place.

The Local Guides Program empowered me to influence the owners in order to attract the attention to customers´ needs, to my opinion and, perhaps, it will empower other users of the Google Maps to do the same.

In my professional life I got the experience to evaluate the hotels for the corporate business accommodation needs, and one of my brief evaluations is below. I was involved in the process of hotel inspections for British Airways crew. I’ve decided to use the similar approach in my recent reviews. Of course, I was checking far more than just a private customer, like health & safety regulations, fire safety and the quality of rooms itself. One of those reviews is below.

My intention is to show what is already great, but also what could be done to make it even greater.

I hope you will support me in this movement. :slightly_smiling_face:
