How? And why? Someone could begin as a local guide?
Perhaps when the people think in a local guide, everybody things sure that person know all about the community; sure he live there all his life and Knows everybody.
I started very different; when I moved a new city where I have never been and don’t know anybody.
Do you remember when leaved home? Really hard isn’t it?
After a good bye party whit family and friends .I drove 550 kilometers to arrive at the new city , and what is the first thing I do ? Take my mobile and use Google maps to follow the route to new home.
I came and said, I did it! So, a few minutes later I realize that it is necessary to do several things and hands to work:
Petrol station closer, nearest supermarket, nearest bank
And then more important things:
The best Taqueria, the best meat restaurant, the best pizzeria, jajajajaja. But, how to know if they really are the best option? And for these things I consider myself demanding and observe many things like; have parking? The waiter is kind? The place is wide? The place is clean? Attend fast? The food is fresh? Have home delivery? Have promotions? Can I pay with credit card?
That was when I discovered the value of the comments and all the information that the Google local guides share; and I realized the value that they generate for the people.
that moment I was born in my interest to be able to contribute with this communion so valuable and help people not only in my country or community also in other countries I’ve had a chance to travel like Argentina, Uruguay, United States and Canada.it is very communal for me to talk with the people of the places I visit, they can tell you stories that maybe you don’t believe, sure you will also receive advice; but above all you can make many friends.
I believe that when you travel the expectation is to have the best experience of the places that are visited and to share those real experiences is my main objective so that others more can enjoy.
