Do you know SDGs “Goal 17”?
It means “Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development”
And Goal 17 contains a target 17.17 : Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.
Local Guide enables us to revitalize the global partnership, allowing individuals around the world to connect while using Google maps of private platform. In this way, it is possible to obtain information and communicate through the common human language of “place” and “photos and videos”, transcending age, race, gender, and even language barriers.
For example, when I went on a trip to Germany and Switzerland to see modern and contemporary buildings, in Munich, Germany, I found a local guide to architecture, picked up where I wanted to go, and in the evening I followed the contributor who found a place to eat on google maps.
On the other hand, in Switzerland, I couldn’t find a local guide to the church architecture I wanted to see, so I had a hard time getting there (and the roads were closed that day due to heavy snowfall, so I couldn’t go inside). I also wanted more people to see the buildings that moved me so much that I got goosebumps when I traveled there.
Because of this experience, I decided to make a list of buildings and food that I find attractive in the small area I live in. This time, I started making a list in hopes that I could be of use to someone else. I would be happy if anyone who fits my sensibilities could use it as a reference. Surely, I believe that the use of the platform of local guides will produce the right match, making the tacit knowledge of the individual into formal knowledge.
In my opinion, Local Guide is the only way to pinpoint the dots and people around the world.
