Being able to share the world around me with others to help make their day simpler or their holiday more relaxing and fun is one of the main reasons I love being a local guide.
I kind of fell into this, having lived in a tourist destination for a number of years and now having moved to another - the ability I have to share the beauty and the best bits around me is unique because I have the opportunity to intrinsically know the area around me and uncover hidden gems to those who might otherwise never see them.
