From the forum country of Blue Nile and White Nile rivers, Sudan the unknown country to the most of world i said to the world we are here and i am a Local guide to make you know more about our country, I am 22 years old graduated student i learned using google maps because of not knowing my city very will.
I started my trip on local guide in 2014 i started posting photos and reviews about places then i noticed there are places that are not in G maps so i do a little research about how to add places in G maps then i started adding places and checking places information.
After 3 years as local guide a found a friend in G maps and we started a discussion about gathering local guides in Sudan in one group on Facebook, we have found more than 75 local guiders, in 22/7/2017 we made our first Meet-up for local guiders in Sudan, now we have more than 200 guiders in our group on many levels from startups to big guiders.
My country is banned from many services of google, and we are doing our best to reach the others and make our map a very good place to others to use. <3
