Who am I?
My name is Yura, I am from Lviv, Ukraine.
I work as software engineer. In my free time I like to travel (for now 15 countries visited), ride my motorcycle and to share information about visited places to Google Maps.
Why I became a Local Guide?
One of the best features of Google Maps is possibility to share information and experience of different places between everyone. I found this feature like opportunity for me to bring my own vision of things to people.
That’s why I became a Local Guide! One more thing why I like to be a Local Guide is that I can develop my city to be more friendly and open to the world.
Why Local Guides are so important?
I travel a lot and every time when I plan my trip I realize that I am limited in time, and I can not see everything, so Local Guides feedbacks helps me to visit the most interesting places and plan my trip in the best way.
What are my plans?
Of course I want to visit Local Guides Connect Live event. It would be a pleasure for me to participate in such great event. It would be a good opportunity to meet people with the same interests, share experience with them and try to make this world better!
