Hello! I am Sergey Shvets. I am 56 years old. I am a surgeon from Ukraine.
I and my wife always loved to travel. This mainly happened domestically.
Ukraine has only recently begun its journey to a familiar life for most of the planet’s population.
The first country we visited abroad was USA. With great surprise, we found that on Google maps you can plan routes, find interesting places. To any place found on the map, there are reviews.
Mostly their language is English. I started to learn it. For three years, Google maps have spoken to me.
I discovered the community of local guides only a year ago. I got an android smartphone, started taking pictures, and Google invited me to upload a photo.
The whole discovery was the ability to add comments to my photos. At first, I was ashamed of my English. But a trip to the United States revealed to me that this is not right. From that moment I began to write comments myself. I understand that there are small amount of them. And perhaps they are not as beautiful as most I have read but I try.
First of all, photographs. I’m glad that they are popular. And I really hope my photo will help guests of Ukraine to travel across my country and city.
Only today I tried to add a new place on the map (46.949826 31.934678). This is a small cafe-restaurant Lazurny. His guests will find a good kitchen here. You can sit on the terrace and watch the sunset. Prices are not very expensive.
Google didn’t approve of this place yet.
