Local Guide as lifestyle

Being a local guide became also a lifestyle for me because luckily I often travel across Italy, and that’s why it became a good habit to take photos and review some of the best places I’ve seen. Italy is a beautiful Country, rich in history and with a cultural and environmental heritage to fully appreciate.

I certainly like sharing my experiences also from abroad and I gladly realise that my contributions are helpful to tourists who rely on Google for true and honest advice on what they need, in order to spend a great holiday.
I’m not that young anymore and I’m not active on social media because I’m not really interested in them. On the contrary, I believe in the benefit from using this program that helps anyone, included me, find where to eat or sleep and what are the main attractions to visit, based on other people’s feedback.

Even if it’s just to eat a good ice-cream or drink a cocktail in front of a romantic sunset, it’s a good piece of advice to post on Google maps, in order to make everyone live special moments during the trip.

This is also a great way to compare and understand several points of view because we don’t think the same way and we perceive emotions or feelings that some places can instill, differently.
When it’s possibile I also enjoy answering questions, but I’d like to point out just a little thing to make an improvement. It’d be useful if the Google system could provide with the translation in my language, those questions asked in a foreign one. Sometimes it happened that I couldn’t understand what the user asked because there was no way to have a direct translation, and that’s a shame.

I’m glad because I also involved my 20-year-old daughter in this fun and exciting activity and I hope to have the chance if I were chosen, to be so lucky to live a unique and unforgettable experience with many international guides gathered in one and fantastic scenery to celebrate and rejoice in this event, which is for me an unimaginable accomplishment for my merits.

Ciao @bettinamoroni ,
